A Site License allows any person from any of the supplied IP addresses to access MedAbbrev.com and perform searches without logging in. However the total number of people allowed to perform searches at the same time is limited to the number of "Seats" (or concurrent users) you purchased.

Once you have completed your Site License purchase and are logged in (automatically), you will be able to set up your Locations. You may set up one or more Locations.

One Location can have all of the Seats or you can split the Seats between multiple Locations. For each Location you will specify the number of Seats and IP addresses allowed.

Additional Seats can be purchased at any time. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

A User License allows a person to log into MedAbbrev.com with their email address and password. Once they have logged in they can start doing searches.

A User License is not restricted to a list of IP addresses. The person can log in from any location and on any device.

A User License provides dedicated access to MedAbbrev.com. You will not be sharing access with other people or be limited by the use of others.

If your organization has people who will likely use MedAbbrev.com frequently all day long, dedicated User Licenses are recommended.

An Access Code is a set of letters and numbers that allows a person to create an account with MedAbbrev.com that provides (usually) a 1 year access to the site.

An Access Code may only be used ONCE. Once the Access Code is redeemed it will no longer be valid. Access Codes may be purchased and given to other people and can be redeemed at MedAbbrev.com/access-code.html.

If you have purchased a book titled "Medical Abbreviations: ##### Conveniences at the Expense of Communication and Safety", there should be an Access Code printed on the inside front cover. You may also have received an Access Code from someone else who purchased it from MebAbbrev.com.
